OWH Card Bowl 2014! Challenge #1

Quote from OWH Stars and Stamps Blog
"Make a masculine card – for men, teens, or little boys – in any OWH-approved theme. And make your card somehow reflect either the Seahawks or Broncos. Use their colors, something about their city, their mascot – get creative! It doesn’t have to be a sports/football-related card."

I am not a sports fan at all but I thought I will give it a try. I made two cards for each team.
"Miss You" sentiment is from Paula Spagnuolo.

Denver Broncos team colors:  Orange & Blue

Seattle Seahawks team colors: Blue & Green

Photos taken at the Lucky Ranch

After Betty's SU Workshop, I dropped off my stuff at home and headed to the Lucky Ranch with Rhonda, my apartment neighbor. A little while ago, she said that she has her horse at the Ranch. I asked her to take me there one day and today was the day. I had a great fun tour at the Ranch and took a lot of photos and even a couple of videos. We had laughter out loud for about two hours. I had an extreme exercise with Pyro, a dog, who brought me a ball and made me play with him. He never wanted to stop and I couldn't keep up with him. Rhonda was surprised when I said that I never played with a dog before. Now I feel so tired.

Lovely day!

OWH Sketch Challenge #207

I am catching up. I was not sure about the twine to add on this card. It doesn't seem to show much which is okay so it won't distract seeing the sentiment. For the bottom strip, I stamped a small stamp of bubble (?) image several times.

Thinking of you flower

I have kept this flower image for a while. It is just beautiful as it is so I didn't need to embellish much. I am going to add it to my next OWH box.

EDIT: What I did for this card:
1. color the solid stamp with water color markers, 2. spray it with water mist, 3. stamp the image on the paper and let it dry, and 4. stamp the outline stamp with Versa Mark Watermark stamp pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. That's it.

Flowery thank you card

Flowery thank you card to a new box of OWH cards. It was just relaxed creative process. One card. No duplicate. You will notice that I added a bling to every flower. Are they too many?

My Penguin Thank You cards

My first ever made penguin Thank You card. Yeah!

My second penguin Thank You card for OWH.
I like this version of card base. The heart on the banners makes it completed look.
Once I mastered (?) assembling punched out pieces, I am having more fun to play with them.

OWH Sketch Challenge #206 - you mean the world to me

OWH Sketch Challenge #206  - you mean the world to me.

I visualized a card to make for this week's OWH sketch challenge with less layers. It took longer than I estimated since I started on Sunday- thinking time and re-doing time until I found that it's good enough. Enough... especially while I was in pain.

I cut the image and sentiment to split from one stamp that I used to do. It makes easier stamping in different colors.

I made another card for the same sketch. It didn't take long. I put the panel a little bit wider for this one. I feel more comfortable.

Including these two cards and 15 Any Hero cards, total 300 cards will be shipped to Sandy Allnock. It's great start with the first shipment of year 2014. Thanks to friend of Janet who donated card fronts. I enjoyed finishing up those cards. Every card is different. Those cards contributed to the total number of 300 cards. So grateful.feeling happy.
